Training Request: Opioid Misuse Prevention and Response
If you would like to request a free Overdose Response training for a group/department, please use this form!
The Office of Rights, Compliance and Accountability (ORCA) has partnered with Project HOPE to offer a free training on how to safely and effectively respond to possible opioid overdoses. This training covers basic education on common opioids, the warning signs of an overdose, how to administer Naloxone (an opioid overdose reversal medication), and follow-up recommendations and resources. As a part of the training, participants will receive a Naloxone kit.
If you are interested in receiving an individual Naloxone kit, or need to replace one that is expired, please stop by the ORCA office on the 3rd floor of Constitution Hall, or contact us using the information provided below. You do not need to complete this form if you only want the Naloxone kit. Training for individual kits is quick and easy!
If you have difficulty accessing this form, or need accommodations for the presentation, please contact the Office of Rights, Compliance and Accountability at least five days prior to your session so we can make the appropriate arrangements. We can be reached at 907-474-7300 or by email at uaf-orca@alaska.edu.
