Join us for a reception at 5 pm hosted by the Fulbright Association-Dallas Chapter to celebrate the closing night of the 9th Annual World Languages and Literatures Film Festival.

Our double feature will begin at 5:30 pm with a screening of "Bwana."

"Antonio, a taxi driver, his wife, and their two children arrive one afternoon to a solitary beach, looking for seashells. However, they will find more than expected: Ombasi and Yambo, two Africans searching of a better life in Spain. That night, Antonio, Dori and Ombasi do not only share fire, but also dreams and surprises that are revealed later in the light of the day... "

The film will be introduced by Prof. Constantin Icleanu.

Unless otherwise noted, all screenings will take place in Caruth Hall 147. Please see www.smu.edu/filmfest for the full schedule of events and a list of special corollary events.
