Go RED for Women - American Heart Association Volunteer Opportunity Day 2

The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Event is an initiative to raise awareness that cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of women- ages 25 and older.
Educating the community in this inspiring lunch program filled with audience Q&A with a medical health panel and CPR demonstrations.

Volunteers needed to help set up for the event on March 29th and execution and break down of the event on March 30. A letter from the American Heart Association will be provided to include in your portfolio /resumes for your service hours.

First Volunteer Opportunity - Wednesday March 29th, 2023
Time: 4:00pm-10:00pm
Set-up
Location: Avalon Manor Banquet Center - 3550 E Lincoln Hwy, Merrillville, IN 46410
Dress Code: Casual, comfortable, Jeans, tennis shoes
Job: Setting up backdrops, auction items, hanging sign boards

Second Volunteer Opportunity - Wednesday March 29th, 2023
Time: 9:00am-2:00pm
Go Red Program and Breakdown
Location: Avalon Manor Banquet Center - 3550 E Lincoln Hwy, Merrillville, IN 46410
Dress Code: business casual (red dresses, nice red shirt, anything RED preferred ­ƒÿè)
Job: Help with registration table, flow of event (traffic control for guests, showing them where their table/seats are, etc.) Help with dismantling vendor displays tables, packing up all table items (vases, envelopes, pens) Help load into boxes and vehicles
