2024-2025 Cheer Team Application

Application Information

We're excited that you're interested in auditioning for the 2024-2025 UVU Cheer Team!

The following is a timeline of events for tryouts:

- Applications Deadline | Thursday, May 15th, 2024 | 11:55pm
- Tryout Open Gym | Tuesday, May 14th and Thursday, May 16th, 2024 | 5pm-7pm | SLWC MAC Court (SL 306)
- First Round | Friday, May 17th, 2024 | 4pm-9pm | SLWC MAC Court (SL 306)
- Second Round | Saturday May 18th, 2024 | 9am-6pm | SLWC MAC Court (SL 306)

Physical: NEW AS OF 2024 - a physical completed by a medical professional is required to try out. Your physician must use UVU's Physical Form found here - https://www.uvu.edu/spiritsquad/docs/physical.pdf

There are several components to the Utah Valley University Cheer Team application, including a required $40 audition fee that is non-refundable. Please thoroughly read through all of the application instructions as you complete each page.

Upon submission, the basic eligibility requirements (ie: GPA, current student standing, etc.) will be verified. Your application will then be reviewed and your audition will be scored by a panel of judges. Applications are due May 15 by 11:55pm. Late applications will NOT be accepted, no exceptions.
