Spring Week of Welcome Planning Meeting

Student Programs and Involvement invites university departments, offices, and student organizations to join us in hosting events for spring Week of Welcome, January 16-19, 2024

Week of Welcome serves to supports students in the following ways:

• Developing a sense of belonging by establishing connections with peers, university faculty/staff, and community representatives;
• Exploring opportunities for on-campus involvement to get engaged in during the first semester;
• Being knowledgeable of academic and well-being resources on campus including how to access and utilize them;
• Understanding university traditions and campus values;
• Being able to appreciate the differences and similarities across the campus community.

If you are planning an event between January 16-19 that meets one or more of the above-mentioned learning objectives and would like to be included in the Week of Welcome marketing campaign, please join us for our kick-off planning meeting!
