The Division of Student Life is proud to host the 2022 Student Life Institute as an opportunity to connect around our five strategic goal areas
  • Listen and engage
  • Empower students to engage in problem-solving
  • Advocate for equity
  • Champion holistic well-being
  • Foster a welcoming community
A variety of sessions pertaining to these goal areas will be offered throughout the week of January 10-14. All K-State faculty and staff are invited to attend the keynote workshop with Dr. Sansberry, "Creating Equitable and Inclusive Workplaces That Support Employee Retention", on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

To RSVP for the keynote session, please RSVP on this event page. All other institute sessions have their own events pages on which you can register. See "Agenda" section on this page below.

More about the keynote session:

All K-State faculty and staff are invited to join the Division of Student Life's Staff Development and Engagement committee and Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation committee for the 2022 Student Life Spring Institute keynote session with Dr. Kevin Sansberry. Dr. Sansberry spoke with us earlier this summer about recruiting and hiring for diversity and inclusion. This spring, Dr. Sansberry will join us again virtually to discuss creating equitable and inclusive workplaces that support retention of employees.

Dr. Kevin Sansberry II is a behavioral scientist and executive coach whose inspiring work is driven by the need for evidence-based, inclusive and equitable approaches to urgently and proactively transform and coach leaders, eradicating toxic behaviors that threaten profitability, innovation and the overall wellbeing. He is the founder and principle of KEVRA Consulting, a firm that utilizes research-based solutions to address organizational challenges such as inclusion, equity and belonging, HR strategy and leadership coaching and development.

Questions regarding the Student Life Spring Institute may be addressed to Sara Heiman, sjheiman@ksu.edu and Marcus Cottrell, cottrellm@ksu.edu
