Details

As part of UMKC Family Weekend, Dr. David Trowbridge will give a brief history of UMKC and the School of Humanities and Social Science’s home, Scofield Hall. The presentation will also share examples of how UMKC scholars and students use technology, from analyzing ancient texts to connecting the public to local history.

Trowbridge is the creator of Clio, a project that connects people to nearby historical and cultural sites throughout the United States. He is the William T. Kemper Associate Research Professor in Digital and Public Humanities.
