Celebration Begins: 1:00 p.m.

Convocation is the official welcome to UMKC, where new students learn about UMKC traditions, meet Kasey the Kangaroo, and practice our alma mater and fight song. New students also participate in the UMKC Roo pinning ceremony, one of our favorite UMKC traditions! There will be food and student speakers!

*All new UMKC students should plan to attend Convocation.
