Spring Greening Day

Celebrate Earth Day with Geaux Green and Campus Sustainability by volunteering to plant natives and perennials in front of the Student Union. We will be teaming up with Landscape Services to green the section of the Union from Tower Drive to Highland Road. Shifts are available in one hour increments. Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts, if your schedule allows. Lunch and a tee shirt will be provided to all volunteers:-)

This event will be in conjunction with a Sustainability Expo hosted by Campus Sustainability in Free Speech Circle. At the Expo, students, staff and faculty will have the opportunity to visit with ecologically minded campus groups and see some of the initiatives on campus that are centered around advancing sustainability on campus and within the community.
