Homecoming Week 2023 Running of the Bulls Parade

General Information

On behalf of the Center for Student Involvement at the University of South Florida Tampa campus, we thank you for expressing interest in participating in the 2023 Running of the Bulls Homecoming Week Parade on Friday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m.

This application will serve to register as a group and for watch parties. Please review the Homecoming Parade Rules & Regulations Handbook for a detailed overview of the event before submitting your application. This application will close on Sunday, September 24, at 11:59 p.m.

We encourage all float applicants to search for resources to help them in constructing a homecoming float. Below are some links you may find helpful:

Parade Monitors

Each entry will be required to provide two Homecoming Week Parade monitors. They must be 18 years or older and must walk on either side of the entry along the entire route. Parade monitors may not switch positions with any entry riders. Reflective vests will be provided to each entry upon check-in and must be worn by parade monitors at all times along the route. If your entry is a walking group, two monitors to walk with the group should still be identified. Vests should be returned to the Center for Student Involvement in the boxes provided at the end of the route.

Watch Party Statement of Understanding

USF student and community organizations are encouraged to reserve space for their group to watch the Homecoming Parade along the route. You MUST submit an Event Request Form with The Service Center in order to reserve space for your watch party. This form must be completed at least by Thursday, October 5, 2023. Please note, if your department intends to serve alcohol at your watch party, you must complete additional paperwork with The Service Center.
