The Civic Conversation Series (CCS) is a monthly panel program that explores diverse expert perspectives on current topics of public interest and invites critical discussion about ethical leadership and engaged citizenship.

This virtual session will feature a conversation about Gender Equality, aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #5. Our featured panelists, Dr. Monica L. Miranda, Director of the USF Center for Student Involvement, Abby Everingham, LMHC, Regional Reach Director at Pace Center for Girls, and Belinthia Berry, M.S., President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Tampa Bay Area Chapter, will discuss persistent gender-based challenges and share opportunities and approaches to create more equitable and empowering environments for girls and women. This program is open to all members of the USF community and invited guests.

This is a pre-approved event for students pursuing the Global Citizen Award.

Please contact Dris Stephen at istephen@usf.edu with questions or to request reasonable accommodations.
