Leave your title at the door! Imposter Syndrome is loosely described as doubting your intelligence and validity based on the internalized fear of being unworthy or not belonging. Join us in a discussion about how to identify and overcome these feelings, because no mater your background or life experiences, you do belong and are worthy of taking up space. With facilitator Clementina Macias, Director of College Support Programs.

About Clementina:
Born and raised in South Monterey-County, Clementina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Collaborative Health and Human Services with a concentration in Social Work and a Masters in
Education Counseling and Student Personnel. She has worked in higher education since 2007,
promoting educational equity, college access and opportunity for individuals from
underrepresented backgrounds. Currently Clementina serves as the Director for the College
Support Programs (CSP), under the Division of Student Affairs. Her student-centered
philosophy of access, retention and inclusion is deeply rooted in her own journey as a first-
generation and low-income college. She believes leadership is an honor that carries the
responsibility and commitment of supporting and uplifting the communities we serve.
