Social Justice Dialogues: Fast Fashion

The Social Justice Dialogues is a key program that fosters intergenerational and intersectional approaches to dialogue by centering a "leave your title at the door" approach". This program is in collaboration with various departments at CSUMB, in order to nurture intentional cross-community conversations among faculty, staff, students, and community members.

Fast fashion is a growing industry that often profits off the exploitation of their workers and futhers harm to the environment. Although, many of these fast fashion companies are utilized for their accessibility and affordability. People often do not know of or have access to alternative brands that are more eco-friendly and offer adequate working conditions for their employees. Join in a discussion about fast fashion, its harms, and alternative fashion companies to support!
