Stop by our office to purchase fair trade items from Ten Thousand Villages.

May 1, also known as International Workers’ Day or May Day, is celebrated globally as a day to honor workers’ rights and advocate for labor rights and fair working conditions.

In addition, every second Saturday of May, the World Fair Trade Organization celebrates World Fair Trade Day to shine a spotlight on the transformative power of the Fair Trade business model and its positive impact on people’s lives and communities.

Stop by our office, SSC 2200, to shop for fair trade items and learn more about ethical shopping with our friends at Ten Thousand Villages. Ten Thousand Villages is a non-profit retail store that provides vital fair income to people in the developing world by marketing their handicrafts, selling their products, and telling their stories in North America. Your contributions can help pay for food, education, health care, and housing for artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed.

Come shop and learn with us!
