Race, Peace, & the Pursuit of Social Justice is a one-day peace symposium, hosted by The Karson Institute for Race, Peace & Social Justice, designed to create spaces for high school and college students, professors, activists, and community members to examine and discuss the ways in which race and peace can be used as a lens to understand social justice, from our communities to our campuses.

If you are unable to attend in person we encourage you to watch our two keynote conversations via zoom. "The Ongoing Debate about Critical Race Theory, From the Courtroom to the Classroom" with Billy Murphy Esq. will begin at 9:00 a.m. and "Creating Spaces to Explore Peace and Pursue Social Justice: the ongoing work to achieve international and domestic peace" with George Lopez Ph.D. will begin at 12:30 p.m.
