We often hear "You should seek out a mentor!" or "Networking is important for your career!" How? What do we really get out of networking and mentorship relationships?

This workshop will expand your knowledge on how to create relationships with your colleagues that are mutually beneficial. Whether you identify as a mentee or mentor or both, we will identify areas where the UWHEN Community has expertise to share to help one another learn and grow professionally.

Joining is entrepreneur, business owner, and mentor Tori Lima to speak on her experience and expertise in building professional relationships.

In addition, participants will engage in networking and on-the-spot mentoring activities and walk away with clear action steps to put what is learned in the workshop into practice in your career.

*Adjunct Faculty: For compensation, please register for this event with registration code FD41 in the SLCC Registration System as well.

Tori Lima

Express Employment Professionals

For over 26 years, Tori has been an entrepreneur in Utah, owning two small businesses during her career. She has taken them from zero profit to multi-million dollar entities, mentoring and coaching teams along the way in industries as mortgage lending, real estate investing, staffing, and professional recruiting.

Her passion is fueled by helping others rise to better opportunities for themselves and their families, and her team lives by the theme “Show Up.”

She has been a volunteer on various civic and religious committees, a board member of educational and art foundations in Utah and currently working on more involvement as a women-owned business in the community.

Tori is very proud of her small town, Utah roots and vows to “never leave until the state is in better condition than when I found it!” ƒÿë

When not Showing Up with her work family, Tori is playing with her husband, three children, and pup, preferably on skis, or perhaps a tennis racket or pickle ball in hand.
