Dr. Booker has been a passionate advocate of critical thinking and academic success since 2007. Both teacher and speaker, she has presented workshops and seminars nationally and internationally, across multiple academic disciplines and different types of organizations. Her audiences find her passionate, engaging, and full of energy. She shares vital information that, when applied, can make a great impact on a person's experience, whether academic or otherwise.

As a second-generation academician, Dr. Booker is aware of the traditional methods of teaching critical thinking. Her mission is to assist individuals in understanding what analysis and good reasoning requires. Although people are asked to analyze concepts, they are often not given a clear conception of how to think things through. Dr. Booker also desires to assist individuals in understanding critical thinking, not as a concept learned and used in a silo, but one that is able to be transferred from one area over to other areas in their academic, professional, and personal life.
