In our efforts to instill the values of community and responsibility, the Center for Student and Civic Engagement hosts Voluntoona, an annual event. Penn State Altoona partners with local community agencies to place students around the greater Altoona community to provide a morning of volunteer service. Since its inception in 2010, approximately 2,400 students have performed 6,300 hours of service to over 50 participating agencies.

Voluntoona will take place on Saturday, April 6. Current students, faculty, and staff wishing to participate can sign up using the RSVP event feature. Registration will be open until Thursday February 29, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

Transportation, lunch and a t shirt will be provided to all attendees.

RSO's have a minimum requirement of 4 or 7 members.
