Academic Support Center

I obtained my B.A. in English from the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) in 2019 and an M.S. in Technical Communication, in addition to certificates in Medical & Applied Health Communication and Plain Language Writing from UHD in 2021.

In UHD, I worked as a social media intern with the university's Office of Study Abroad. I was also a journalist and the social media manager for the university's student-run newspaper called The Dateline.

I was a writing tutor for the Writing and Reading Center at UHD. Currently, I am the Assistant Director for the Academic Support Center at UHD.

I am a dedicated and fast learner who does not shy away from hard work. Some of my skills include resilience, organization, reliability, great communication, and teamwork. I have experience with multiple online platforms, such as Microsoft Office, video editing, and different social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).
