The Multicultural Center at Bloomsburg University would like to cordially invite you to the 29th annual Sankofa Conference. Sankofa is an Akan word that means, "We must go back and reclaim our past so we can move forward...” By utilizing this sentiment, we want to showcase the depth of knowledge from our people. The Multicultural Center recognizes the need for students to learn, understand, and appreciate their rich cultural history. The conference was developed as a way to promote unity among students and faculty of color and to provide opportunities for the community of Bloomsburg to learn about the multicultural experience.
