This is if you want to apply to be a mentee! Please read the description and answer the questions below.
BEFORE APPLYING, YOU MUST REGISTER TO THE EMPOWERUS SUMMIT!
Requirements & Expectations to be a Mentee:
Attend the entire EmpowerUS summit on March 1, 2024
Attend the information session on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5-6:30PM.
Being open to sharing and learning from a mentor by sharing stories about your aspirations and journeys (professional, personal, academic, etc.)
Bring questions to your mentor during your times of communication
Effectively communicate with your mentor
Complete and submit ConnectUS survey at the beginning and end of the program.
- Additional Time Commitment:
Recommended to meet with mentor once a month during Spring quarter and we encourage you to continue the relationship past this program
About the program:
The Womxn's Center for Success presents the EmpowerUS Summit's ConnectUS mentorship program. The EmpowerUS Summit is a campus-wide event for students, faculty, and staff. ConnectUS is a mentorship program of the EmpowerUS Summit, that provides students with the opportunity to network with womxn graduate students, faculty, and staff.
