Vaccination Conversations with Scientists General Body Meeting

This is a General Body meeting for the Vaccination Conversations with Scientists (VaCS) Initiative. VaCS is an outreach initiative that collaborates with the local health department to hold conversations with community members about the science behind vaccines. We hold weekly phone banks and canvas at in-person events. We provide thorough training to help volunteers prepare for conversations. VaCS volunteers are welcome to attend as many or few events as fit their schedules! Volunteers can also decide to sign up for leadership positions to help with behind-the-scenes logistics and data analysis.

***At this general body meeting, we will discuss the plans for the semester and introduce prospective volunteers to our organization!*** Anyone who attends will have the ability to contribute to developing a plan of action for this fall semester, when it will be important to help get word out about the upcoming COVID-19 booster.
