Join Bethe and Rose House in New York City to visit the MET Cloisters Museum, the branch of the Museum in northern Manhattan devoted to the art and architecture of medieval Europe on Saturday, April 22, 2023. $20 (paid through Bursar billing) will cover a round trip private charter bus to NYC, a ticket to the cloisters, a one-way Metro pass to midtown after the museum visit, and snacks. To-go breakfast with meal swipe. Open to Bethe and Rose residents only. This is a group activity - there will be free time in the city but you MUST attend the Museum visit and return to Cornell on the bus.

Limited Spots available. If your plans change, you must cancel by Thursday, April 20 so we can give the seat to someone on the waitlist. Anyone who signs up but doesn't show up the day of will be charged the full amount.

Itinerary:
6:30AM: Buses depart Baker Flagpole
~11AM: Arrive at The Met Cloisters - 99 Margaret Corbin Dr, New York, NY 10040
11AM-12:20PM: Lunch on your own or explore the nearby gardens and parks surrounding the Cloisters
12:30PM: Guided tour of the Met Cloisters with Fordham Professor Andrew Albin
2PM - 7/8PM: Group travel to midtown via Metro, meals on your own, and free time
~ 7/8PM: Buses depart Bryant Park* 42nd St. between 5th and 6th Ave
~ 11PM/12AM: Return to Baker Flagpole

*There is an hour buffer on departure time from NYC as it will depend on whether traffic impacts our arrival time. Bus drivers are required to rest for a set number of hours when they have done a long trip before driving again.

Ticket sales will begin 9am on Friday, April 14, 2023. Please reach out to your House Assistant Dean for any financial or other accommodations needed to attend this trip.
