On the Friday nearest November 9th, we'll be honoring Carl Sagan's 88th birthday with apple pie and a talk by Carl Sagan Institute Director Lisa Kaltenegger, who follows in Sagan's footsteps to search for life on exoplanets. She'll be talking about "Alien Earths"!

Be sure to visit the observatory afterward for more festivities—Carl Sagan fun facts, watching Cosmos, and observing!
