The Ninth Annual Career Summit is a professional development and networking day for students to engage with professionals in their career field. Employers across a variety of industries will join us on-campus to discuss their career paths and talk about opportunities at their companies. This event is on an Advisement Day so there are no classes!

Summit Agenda:
10am-10:30am: Networking Breakfast
Start the day with a continental breakfast and get a kick start on building your network!

10:30am-11:45am: Welcome & Keynote
Hear from Keynote Speaker Andrea Nwoke (bio below) where she will give a talk called "Finding Your Voice: Balancing Authenticity and Professional Communication for Career Success."

12pm-1:15pm: Industry Panels
After the Keynote, we will break out into Industry Panels where you will join one of the rooms below to hear from employers in that field. These student-moderated panels will provide insight on the day-to-day of the industry, advice on finding jobs/internships, and what you can do now to help set you up for success in your career.

Raffle Prizes will be drawn based on completed event evaluations and announced on social media.

Her experience in career management consulting brings a knowledgeable approach to working with professionals in career and role transition. Honoring her artistic passions, Andrea serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for the Seagle Festival. She is a frequent guest speaker, moderator, facilitator, and panelist for various arts organizations and DEI initiatives.
