You are invited to join us on Wednesday, November 29, at 12 p.m. in Wong Auditorium as we welcome Dr. Rajiv J. Shah, President, The Rockefeller Foundation, and author of Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens, for our next session of the iLead Speaker Series.

Dr. Rajiv J. Shah is president of The Rockefeller Foundation, a global institution committed to promoting the well-being of humanity around the world through data, science, and innovation. Under his leadership, the foundation raised and deployed more than $1 billion to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic at home and abroad, launched a $10 billion Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet which is working to unlock renewable energy access in emerging economies, and is currently seeking to advance human opportunity even while reversing the climate crisis.

Dr. Rajiv J. Shah serves on President Biden's Defense Policy Board and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also the author of Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens, where he shares a dynamic new model for realizing transformative change, inspired by his own work, the Foundation's, and changemakers from around the world.

Dr. Shah is a graduate of the University of Michigan, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and the Wharton School of Business. He has received several honorary degrees, the Secretary of State's Distinguished Service Award, and the U.S. Global Leadership Award.

As the premier speaker series at MIT Sloan, iLead provides significant educational enrichment and is a natural complement to the school's curriculum. It is a privilege to have Dr. Shah join us for this event, and we invite you to learn more about his leadership journey at this upcoming fireside chat.

Immediately following the event, there will be an opportunity for students to gather in Ting Foyer to connect with Dr. Rajiv J. Shah and get signed copies of his book.

This event is currently sold out. There is not a waitlist but we recommend if you are interested in attending that you arrive to the event early and if there are seats available at 12:00 p.m, we will open the doors to walk-ins.
