SpeakUp! is a two-part workshop series on understanding, identifying, and mitigating bias and micro-aggressions, and is open to students, faculty, and staff. It will focus on a range of biases including racial, gender, sexuality, age, etc. and covers everything from understanding the terminology to learning tools on how to intercept bias. Last year there was an explicit focus on "bias in the classroom" but this year we will also be including more general situations. The workshop will once again be facilitated by the fantastic Candace Stanciel, from the Common Good Agency.

The two-part series includes one day of learning and one day of training and scenario practicing.
