Robert Shaye, CFP® has taught investing workshops for companies including Twilio, Spotify, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and BlackRock. Rob is a 2014 FTMBA grad and has taught several investing workshops at Haas over the past few years. We've engaged Rob to return to campus and deliver another round of personal finance workshops this April. The workshop will be purely educational. Rob's company does not manage any assets or sell any products and his workshops are designed to be objective. Haasies who have attended workshops in prior years have rated them a 9 out of 10, with 100% of attendees saying they would attend a future session.
Hosted in-person in Chou Hall, this will be a fast-paced, interactive, and engaging event covering various aspects of personal finance, including:
- Balancing student loans with retirement savings post Haas
- Actionable steps to take during reduced income years (during MBA)
- Asset allocation in your 401(k) & Roth IRA
- Defining your risk tolerance
- Creating your own Hierarchy of Saving
- What to do with a prior employer 401(k)
