Join Kellogg Food & Agribusiness Club for Social Impact week as we host a panel of executives from TopBox, Feeding America and the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to learn about the current landscape on fighting food insecurity in America. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Megan Kashner, Director of Social Impact and Sustainability at Kellogg.

Did you know that In 2020, Feeding America estimated that 50 million Americans were food insecure? That means that ~15% of Americans consistently did not have access to enough healthy food to provide their households 3 meals a day. Moreover, those disproportionately affected belonged to communities of color, were senior citizens and children. The goal of this talk is to contrast the challenges & opportunities coming out of the pandemic for both, non-profits with a philanthropic approach such as Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and those pursuing the social venture path such as TopBox.
