RSO Advisor Interest Form

Student Organization Advisor Interest Form

80% of the Johns Hopkins student population is involved in a student organization at the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus, it is important for us to ensure we are supporting them to thrive in their experiences. As we believe students make the world a better place when they thrive, we know there are many individuals who also can and already do support this mission by being an advisor to one of nearly 400 student organizations on the Homewood campus.

Serving as an advisor to a student organization is a great way to engage with students outside of the classroom. Advisors serve as a form of support and guidance to ensure students make informed decisions regarding the success of their clubs/organizations. JHUÔÇÖs Leadership, Engagement and Experiential Development (LEED) Office is dedicated to providing direction and support for not only students but for advisors to enhance the success and sustainability of these student ran organizations. Leadership and training workshops will be provided for prospective and current advisors. Topics covered will include risk & liability, budgeting and finances, transitioning organization leadership, and trends in college student mental health. In addition, all advisors will be invited to join an exclusive, +advisory forum on Hopkins Groups to share additional resources & opportunities, obtain University updates, and connect with fellow faculty and staff.
