Shen Yun @ Hippodrome: HopArt Event

Attend a performance through the HopArt program, free of cost, thanks to the Parent's Fund. RSVP to be entered into the ticket lottery. Participants will be confirmed 5-7 days before each event. Students will attend with faculty or staff chaperones, enjoy a meal out, and transportation is provided to and from JHU. Available to undergraduates only.

Shen Yun Performing Arts is a triumph of collaboration, bringing together over a hundred of the world’s foremost classically trained Chinese dancers, choreographers, musicians, and vocalists. It also boasts the world’s only full orchestra that embraces both Western and Chinese instruments as its permanent members. The company’s rich repertory is drawn from the pages of history, universal themes, and the world around us. All choreography and music performed are original.

Departure for this program will be at 1pm for the 2pm performance, with optional dinner after the concert. Registration to enter the lottery ends Feb 2 at noon.
