In celebration of Disability Pride and Awareness Month (DPAM), please join the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CD) on March 30th from 1-2 PM for a virtual conversation with Zandy Wong, Heumann-Armstrong Educational Awardee and Johns Hopkins University Public Health Undergraduate Student, and Tessa McKenzie, Associate Director for Hopkins Connect.

The conversation will focus on Wong's passion for and extensive work in disability justice and her experience as a champion for accessibility. Wong is being recognized with the Heumann-Armstrong Education award, through the Coelho Center at Loyola Marymount University, in recognition of her dedicated advocacy for students with disabilities. The Heumann-Armstrong Educational Award, which provides a platform for students with disabilities who are paving the way for equal access in educational settings, is named for Judith Heumann and Elijah Armstrong, advocates for disability justice in education.
