Attend a performance through the HopArt program, free of cost, thanks to the Parent's Fund. RSVP to be entered into the ticket lottery. Participants will be confirmed 5-7 days before each event. Students will attend with faculty or staff chaperones, enjoy a meal out, and transportation is provided to and from JHU. Available to undergraduates only.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding.

Departure for this program will likely be around 5:30pm for Annapolis venue, with early dinner prior, for

5:30pm Shuttle from JHU for 7pm performance at Maryland Hall in Annapolis. An optional meal will be coordinated before the event. Registration to enter the lottery ends Jan. 20 at noon.

Proof of COVID vaccination and masking may be required at the venue.
