Details

Attend a performance through the HopArt program, free of cost. RSVP to be entered into the ticket lottery. Participants will be confirmed 5-7 days before each event. Students will attend with faculty or staff chaperones and transportation is provided to and from JHU.

In her final program of the season, Marin Alsop reimagines Beethoven's Ninth Symphony as a 21st-century call for unity, justice, and empowerment. The concert opens with the first live performance of Reena Esmail's See Me that flows into Beethoven's Ninth, featuring new text from Wordsmith. Join Marin Alsop, the BSO, and members of the rich musical community of Baltimore for this bold interpretation of Beethoven's ideas in response to today's world.

2pm Shuttle from JHU for 3pm performance at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Registration to enter the lottery ends April 1 12pm. Proof of COVID vaccination will be required per venue regulations.
