Details

An introduction to mindfulness and meditation, open to all Homewood graduate and undergraduate students.

Taught as a weekly, 75-minute class over four weeks by two trained JHU Koru instructors - Cara McNamara, Public Health Academic Advisor, and Molly Hutchison, Health Education Specialist.

Participants must be able to attend all four meeting dates, Oct. 27, Nov 3, 10, 17.

Koru Mindfulness is an evidence-based program specifically designed for teaching mindfulness and meditation as way to manage stress and reduce anxiety. You will learn specific skills that help calm and focus your mind, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan, and more
