Details

Attend a performance through the HopArt program, free of cost. RSVP to be entered into the ticket lottery. Participants will be confirmed 5-7 days before each event. Students will attend with faculty or staff chaperones and transportation is provided to and from JHU.

Imani Winds join the BSO for Valerie Coleman’s Phenomenal Women. With movements dedicated to inspirational women like Maya Angelou, Serena Williams, and Michelle Obama, this work embodies the success over adversity they have achieved. American conductor Michael Stern leads the orchestra in Bartók’s scandalous The Miraculous Mandarin, penned while the composer was ill with Spanish influenza in the 1918 pandemic, and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, one of the composer’s most popular works.  More info here. 

7pm Shuttle from JHU for 8pm concert at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Registration to enter the lottery ends Friday, Ot. 1 at 12pm.
