Join the Involvement Center and Blue Devil Productions for a night of horror and conversation.

We will be screening the contemporary classic The Babadook (written & directed by Jennifer Kent) along with the Cannes 2021 Palme d'Or winner Titane (written & directed by Julia Ducournau).

In addition to the films there will be a panel of UW Stout professors present to discuss different aspects of women and horror such as the historic trends of depictions of women in horror, women writers and directors in horror, the apparent recent rise is social horror, and the use of social horror to highlight women's issues.
