If the sex industry were a continuum, you would find adults who are knowing and willing participants in sex work on one end. Whether it's because of poverty and life circumstances or by choice, they use prostitution as a means of income. Human trafficking victims are on the other end of the spectrum - people forced into the sex industry against their will through force, fraud, and/or coercion. In between those two ends of the sex industry continuum, there's a broad expanse of gray.

Join the Qube, Involvement Center Social Justice Programming, and The Bridge to Hope to learn about the spectrum of sex work and sexual exploitation. You will leave this event with a better understanding of the elements of human trafficking vs. the elements of prostitution, how laws of the past and present have affected the sex industry, and the relationship between the LGBTQIA+ community and the sex industry. You can find us in PRCM Gilbert Creek on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Event will begin at 7pm.
