Workshop: Communicating with Faculty

Strong relationships and good communication with faculty can make all the difference in your experience as a graduate student.

Co-sponsored by Career Services, this workshop will offer tips and skills for communicating effectively with faculty members. Topics will include barriers to effective communication, strategies for success, the role of faculty with regard to research grants and other areas, tips for giving feedback, and more. The workshop will close with discussion of particular cases by current graduate students and opportunities to practice.
