Makerspace: Earth Day Event

Join us at the Makerspace on Earth Day! We will have recycled and reclaimed materials available for students, faculty, and staff to glue onto a community artwork that depicts UCSB’s natural beauty. Let’s create something new while raising awareness of how we can reuse or reduce our waste during the creative process.

This event is cosponsored by Art from Scrap, a non profit organization in Santa Barbara dedicated to keeping clean and safe reusable materials out of the landfill. You can find materials such as scrap fabric, art supplies, and more at their in-person creative reuse store.

This event is a drop-in, all day event. There is no need to make a reservation, but you are welcome to register on Shoreline to receive event reminders.
