EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach Sunday masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome.

This week's class will be taught by Sarada Nori. Kuchipudi dance is an Indian classical dance form that originated in the Telugu speaking regions of south India. It is an amalgamation of ritual dances, courtly dance repertoire and theatrical dance drama. Kuchipudi embodies stories from ancient Hindu scripture and incorporates storytelling techniques, rhythm and hand gestures. Students need to wear comfortable clothing and be able to dance with bare feet. The class will be open level.
