How does fashion shape our existence? Has its role changed over time? The clothing and accessories we choose can be aesthetic, captivating, personal—a demonstration of our true selves or the personas we wish to convey to the world. Fashion can be used to show our cultural, social, and personal identities; it can be a tool for self-expression or even social commentary. Join Dr. Jeffrey C. Alexander and William Zhang for a conversation on the ever-changing fashion landscape and its place in modern times.
Yale Schwarzman Center Sessions are peer-led gatherings where conversations generate collaborations and move ideas into action. Because seats are limited, registrants will be automatically placed on the waitlist and will be notified via email if they are selected to participate.
