Are you interested in seeing a therapist? Not sure how to find a therapist who is the best fit for you? Finding a therapist can feel like finding a needle in a haystack. Be prepared to bring your laptop and find your therapist during the workshop. This hands-on workshop will include identifying your individual therapeutic needs, understanding the language jargon and simplifying therapists' qualifications to find a good therapist-client match, identifying websites to search for therapists, coordinating with your insurance provider and therapist to book your first therapy appointment, and role-play interviewing your therapist to find out if they meet your needs. This interactive workshop will be customized to each participant's specific needs and therapeutic goals. Participants with any health insurance and no/any prior experience in finding a therapist are welcome. Healthy refreshments will be provided.
