DanceHaven
Created in collaboration with senior Gabrielle Niederhoffer and tap legend Dormeshia, DanceHaven brings dynamic dance styles rooted in Black vernacular dance traditions to YSC for a weekend of masterclasses and performances. Come experience tap, Chicago footwork, swing dance, African diasporic movement, and more!
This Masterclass
Tap dance with the one and only Dormeshia. This class will focus on tap technique, musicality, and style. Class will start with a warm-up, then get bodies moving with a few across the floor exercises, and ending with a combination.
