Join us for our AACC Senior Stories series! We'll get to know each other in a more intimate setting, cherish the diversity of experiences in our community, and of course, celebrate our seniors.

Michelle's and Philena's senior stories will take place on Friday, December 9th from 3:30-4:30 pm both in-person at the AACC (first floor) and on Zoom (https://yale.zoom.us/j/96544812063). There'll be yummy Asian snacks :)

If you have any questions, contact Resty (resty.fufunan@yale.edu) and Bella (bella.bolayon@yale.edu).

Michelle and Philena bonded as roommates in a tiny apartment in New York City—from eating udon noodles in Washington Sq park after wrapping up a long summer to listening to Lorde in the early morning hours to realizing they both have to write an EP&E thesis is less than 3 weeks…

Michelle can be found in Davenport, sporting her grandma's handknit sweaters, trying the braided pigtail look, or furiously running down the stairs, late to some class or meal. She loves writing fiction, Chinese chess, admiring the New England fall, and reading books written by Asian-American female authors. She has been obsessed with "Buzzcut Season" ever since Philena played it for her one night and is trying to expand her music taste.

Philena can be found in Murray wearing a brightly colored sweater (think highlighter yellow, cotton candy pink, or scarlett-pink-orangish). Ask her about figure skating and she might talk your ears off. She tries to be spontaneous, which Michelle helps her out with, and not take life too seriously. Philena is always late to things, so she and Michelle usually end up being on time together by being late together.
