Join us for our first AACC Senior Stories of the semester! We'll get to know each other in a more intimate setting, cherish the diversity of experiences in our community, and of course, celebrate our seniors.

Angelreana and Katerina's senior stories will take place on Friday, October 14th from 5-6 pm both in-person at the AACC (first floor) and on Zoom (https://yale.zoom.us/j/96544812063). There'll be yummy Asian snacks :)

Please sign up by Thursday, October 13th at 11:59 pm to attend. If you have any questions, contact Resty (resty.fufunan@yale.edu) and Bella (bella.bolayon@yale.edu).

Katerina and Angelreana, one-half of "Giokapheana" and proud co-parents of duck Marleen, bulldog Mona Lisa, and Hue the Yale DiningÔäó bear, are excited to share their trauma on October 14 at 5pm! Their joint legacy at Yale involves (but is not limited to) swinging on the lamp posts outside of Murray, transporting 5 large Spring Fling cardboard boxes using a single $90 kick scooter from Bass at 12am, and epic suite shower parties. Their primary mode of communication is via GIFs on Messenger.

Angelreana (she/her) is studying Economics and is an Education Studies Scholar. She grew up in rural, small-town Rolla, Missouri (you must say it in a Midwestern accent), but moved to Springfield, Missouri in 2016. As Co-Head AACC PL, she has welcomed and supported many students, but her Yale legacy goes beyond her being an amazing friend and a supportive and caring mentor. Her iconic scooter-riding skills, evident as she is gliding effortlessly down Prospect Street, as well as her mild addiction to late-night boba and her love-hate relationship with the Bachelorette are additional layers of this phenomenal individual. Angelreana enjoys being active in her free time. She loves swimming (was a competitive swimmer in high school), going to the gym (she is ripped), and dancing (she is on her path to a professional career in dance). She wants to be a teacher or work in education policy for some time before attending law school.

Katerina (she/her) is a senior ~woman in STEMÔäó~ from Zevgolatio, a 100-resident village in northern Greece. She moved to Thessaloniki to attend high school as a boarding student at the American Farm School of Thessaloniki. When she's not doing research in the Devoret group, Katerina loves to hike, bike (no hands!), go to the gym (she can hip thrust her three suitemates' combined weights), and spend time building her senior project (known as "the child.") She is also co-president of Women in Physics and is an Academic Strategies Mentor. Katerina is studying Applied Physics, she is doing a certificate in German, and she is an Energy Studies Scholar. In the future, she wants to conduct research on superconducting quantum devices. She is kind, caring, chaotic, and an amazing person <3.
