Are you interested in learning teaching strategies that will create an inclusive environment in your classroom? Do you want to know how to create an equitable and transparent setting for all students? Do you want to better understand how "the hidden curriculum" influences students' learning and participation? This four-part series will include information on universal design for learning, strategies for creating a caring and supportive classroom environment, and tools for equitable and transparent assessment of all students. In this workshop you will define equity, become familiar with the scholarship on inclusive and equitable teaching, and learn evidence-based teaching strategies you can put into practice immediately. Please contact Cody Limber (cody.limber@yale.edu) and Will Johnson (will.johnson@yale.edu) with your questions.

This four-part series will take place in person on 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, and 9/29 in Room 120C of the Poorvu Center.
