Do you wonder how you can better accommodate the diverse needs of all of your students? In this workshop, you will learn about the framework of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and how to incorporate tenets of UDL into your classrooms. We will unpack the three components of UDL (multiple means of representation, multiple means of expression, and multiple means of engagement) and discuss concrete strategies to apply UDL in your own teaching. For more information, contact Lauren Saunders (lauren.saunders@yale.edu) or Adam Viera (adam.viera@yale.edu). This ATW counts toward the Poorvu Center's Certificate of College Teaching Preparation (CCTP) requirement for workshops on the topic of inclusion and diversity.
