Zines are self-published, experimental, and transgressive forms of communication that have been used throughout the Queer liberation movement from Act Up and Queer Nation, to artists and writers trying to reach a mass audience. Join us in learning a brief history and get a chance to explore a collection of zines that relate to the Queer experience. Each participant will have the chance to make their own 8 panel Magic zine to share with other participants and be collected by the School of Arts Printmaking and Book Arts department.
