If you are an RIT student experiencing difficulty with a math and/or a science course you can request a one-on-one Math Assessment meeting with an ASC staff content expert by completing this form. Prior to the meeting you will complete a diagnostic exam to determine the gaps in your prerequisite knowledge. During the meeting, we will discuss your history and current difficulties with math and/or science courses, and the results of the diagnostic exam. Together we will develop a course of action to help you be more successful in your course. Some recommendations may include using better study strategies, utilizing study centers, and/or enrolling in one of the ASC courses, such as Critical Math Skills.
